The title of Food Technologist belongs only to those who have obtained a five-year degree in Food Science and Technology and equivalent (including class 78/s degree), and has passed the state exam for obtaining authorization to pursue of the profession and is regularly enrolled in regional board.

The Food Technologist has adequate scientific and technical knowledge, which enables him to enter the food industry in recent times characterized by a constant and remarkable technological evolution.
